Henry of Harcourt

The Henry family have been growing cider apples, perry pears, and making craft beverages for the last sixteen years on their orchard in the beautiful valley of Harcourt located in Central Victoria.
Harcourt has a rich history of fruit growing, and once this valley was teeming with many orchardists like the Henry family. Over the years, their numbers have dwindled until only a handful of them are left. The family are passionate about keeping their traditions alive and making sure that when you visit, you can see what real life is like on a cider farm.
You can witness their seasonal demonstrations of apple pressing, gain fascinating insight with a guided wander of the orchard, or partake of a lively cider tasting and then relax while enjoying a beverage overlooking the duck pond.
Making ‘cider’ is easy. Making real cider, from real apples? That’s a lot harder, but because they would rather you drink fruit than chemicals, they will do the hard work for you and leave you the easy part of enjoying a great drink.
The expansive farm currently grows 43 of a possible 49 cider apples available in Australia – putting Henry of Harcourt at the forefront of local cider production.
Come and visit, The Henry Family (Drew, Irene, Michael and Troy) will be happy to show you around.
